transportation from kennedy airport to times square
Welcome to the forum! This question gets asked at least twice a day :) There%26#39;s a search function just above here. If you want more detailed PERSONAL advice, you have to tell us
%26gt;exactly where you%26#39;re going, (ie near TS covers a wide area and sometimes visitors are told their hotel is near TS when it isn%26#39;t really)
%26gt;how many of you there are,
%26gt;how much luggage you will have and
%26gt;the approx. time of day/day of week you%26#39;re traveling---all things that affect your decision.
In the absence of that info, he%26#39;s just one previous post on the subject with a link to another

My husband and I will be going to New York City for a four day weekend the last of April. We need to know about an easy and inexpensive way to get from Kennedy airport to our hotel, the Doubletree Metrpolitan on 569 Lexington Ave. Any other tips or information will be appreciated. Thanks
If you don%26#39;t want to take a taxi, you should take the Airtrain (the intra-airport monorail) from the terminal to Jamaica Station. Once there, you can get on the E line of the subway, which you should take to the Lexington Avenue/53rd Street stop. Your hotel is at Lexington and 51st.
The link NYWhiz provided gives more details should you want them.
Buckeyegirl--In case you missed it, posters provided the same answer to this question on your other post, here:

Also, if you%26#39;ve never been to the city before, be sure to read poster GWB%26#39;s terrific Idiot%26#39;s Guide to the Subway, found here:

Also be aware that Lexington and 51st is not considered ';near Times Square';; it is about 3/4 of a mile away. You may want to look at a map of midtown to get an idea where everything is.
