Staten Island Ferry quietest time ?

Will be in NYC 7th till 11th April. Want to use Staten Island Ferry for sightseeing trip. When would be the best time to use it, bearing in mind it%26#39;s Easter weekend. Thanks

We got on the ferry about 10am and it was busy, but practically everyone except the few tourists that were on the boat sat inside and the tourists were outside on the decks taking pictures. When we came back it was really busy, but again there was maybe about 6 people including us on the decks.

Seeing it is a holiday and Sunday, there should be no regular commuters so I would surmise that anytime during the day would be %26#39;quiet%26#39;.

Difficult question to answer - as every day is different - sort of like the weather.

Quietest time is about 9 pm - 2 AM
