Lodging for April weekend in Finger Lakes

I am trying to plan a romantic weekend in the Finger Lakes in April. Having a hard time narrowing down the choices since so many counties make up the area. The lodging needs to be special but open on where it%26#39;s located. We%26#39;re looking to relax, see some wineries, maybe visit some parks, cute towns, etc. I%26#39;m considering:

Magnolia Place

10 Fitch

Benn Conger Inn

Sutherland House

Arbor House

Halsey House

Taughannock Farms Inn

Sherwood Inn

Does anyone have any suggestions? 10 Fitch looks perfect but I%26#39;ve heard Auburn isn%26#39;t a good choice when it comes to touring the Finger Lakes.

The Ithaca area is great. Easy to get to the Lakes, Wineries and great restaurants!

Taughannock farms Inn is overlooking the lake at Taughannock State Park. There is a beautiful waterfall and gorge there for hiking. The Inn has a nice restaurant. You are minutes from the Cayuga Lake wineries and a close drive to the Seneca Lake East side wineries.

Proximity to the wineries will be very important if you plan to spend a day or 2 on the wine trail!

Ithaca, Skaneatlas and Watkins Glen are much cuter towns than Auburn.
