Hello again,

You guys are amazing so I%26#39;ve come back for more help! We aren%26#39;t travelling til September..but.. our flight is due in at 11.30pm and I%26#39;ve read to head straight to the taxi ranks. As we are a family of 4 with 4 suitcases surely there would be taxi wagons available? or should we pay one of the overpriced shuttle van drivers? This sounds like a stupid question but I don%26#39;t want to get stuck at midnight without a lift!!

You will have absolutely no problem getting a taxi at any of the New York area airports late at night, even if your flight is hours late this is the city that never sleeps. No matter what the hour of the day or night all the taxi drivers are busy chatting with each other on their mobile phone headsets. Because many of the drivers are speaking in their native language we don%26#39;t really know what they%26#39;re talking about (its probably better that way) but I%26#39;m sure they know every single arrival better than the people that run the airports, they%26#39;re very entrepreneurial, its great. You%26#39;ll have NO trouble.

Yes, and there are official taxi dispatchers at the taxi stands who keep things orderly and call for more taxis if necessary.
