About $60 including tip and tolls. There%26#39;s a set price (or should be of $40-45 depending on where you%26#39;re going). You can also order a car service for about the same price. I like

limores.net

Others use

carmellimo.com

dial7.com

Booking with a car service has always worked better for me. Note NYWhiz suggestions.

Many thanks on quick reply!

Dial7 seems fine, do you have any experience with them. On their site I saw that you have to call them when you arrive to be directed to the driver, any experience with that?

You are directed to call the car service and they will tell you to meet the car outside the baggage retrieval area. Rather than looking for one car out of the dozen or more cars in the immediate area I have found it is simpler to join the taxi line. With no hassle I am usually on my way after a short wait in the taxi line.

Just came back from NYC. As recommended I used Carmelimo, very good service. I will use them again definitely.

Many thanks again!

TAXI - Only take one from the taxi dispatcher, he will give you a printout of the ';BASE'; price - add tolls and tip to that (about an extra $6 for tolls and 15-20% of the base price for tip)

Car service - Will tell you the base price when booking, add tolls and tips. If you ask they will meet you inside with your name on one of those cards, but most cost extra for that (parking and waiting time) so I usually choose to call when ready - never waited more than 10 minutes.
