We%26#39;re traveling to nyc the third week in October. 5 people, including two teenage daughters. Does anyone have any recent experience or help on a group of this size.
Family accomadations for 5 people in October.I have no experience to talk of, but just so you know, if you need to travel by cabs in the city, the maximum people they allow is 4 people, (three in the back and one in the front), so be aware of this when getting from the airport to the hotel. You may need two cabs . . .but this is better . . .book a van from a car service in Manhattan to pick you up. Look up the website Carmel Car Service. They have minivans! This is cheaper then getting two cabs or cars!
If you don%26#39;t have a hotel yet try looking into the Roosevelt on 46th and fifth - near Times Square. My parents stay there alot. This hotel is cheaper than most at $200 a night and is a nice place to stay. They have ajoining rooms as well! So you can book a couple rooms where you can go back and forth between.
