Car from JFK to Manhattan

Hi there

I%26#39;m travelling from JFK to Manhattan and requested the hotel I%26#39;m staying at the book us a car to collect us from the airport. Does anyone know if it is customary to tip or not in this instance? I know the toll fees are included, but don%26#39;t want there to be any embarrassment regarding the tipping scenario!

Yes it usually is customary to tip. If the total comes to $50 . . .I usually give $10, which is 20%. You could give 15%. It depends on you personally. Also, if you take a cab around the city and the toll comes to about $ 3.50 most people round it up to $5.00. If the cab is something like $4.10, you could round it up to $5.00. Hope that gives an idea!
