Manhattan to Starland ballroom in New Jersey

Hi Guys!!

Me and my wife will be in New York in may and at the same time Velvet revolver is playing at the Starland Ballroom in New Jersey. Just wandering, is it difficult to go there?? I was reading the driving instructions from their site, but it`s jibbirish to me???

I have no personal knowledge of this place or this area, but you should not be reading driving directions but rather scroll down to the bottom of the page and read ';mass transit'; options. Simplest sounds like a NJ transit train (from Penn STation in NYC which is at 34 st %26amp; 7th ave.) to South Amboy on the NJ Coast line. Sounds lik you get on at NY Penn STation to Newark Penn STation and from there you get on the NJ coastline train and South Amboy looks like 9 stations down. Here%26#39;s the map

the starland ballroom is in the middle of nowhere. There%26#39;s nothing around it...just to forwarn you. I%26#39;m from NJ...and us locals have issues finding that place when driving. Good luck with mass transit...though cabs are scarcer in NJ. You will certainly have to prearrange for transportation after the concert as there will probably not be cabs waiting.

Not sure how long youre in the city but a few days later, I believe the band is playing Nokia theater in Times Sq which is much closer.
