Live Earth show at Giants Stadium

I will be in NYC when the huge Live Earth show takes place at Giants Stadium on 7/7/07. We are considering getting tickets, but my question for the group is: what is the best way to get there and back from Midtown Manhattan? How far is it?

And -- has anyone heard any info on ticket prices yet?

Best way to Giants Stadium/Meadowlands Complex is by bus from Port Authority%26#39;s 41st Street Bus Terminal in Manhattan.

So there is a bus that specifically goes right to Giants Stadium?? Do they run all the time, or just a few a day? How long is the ride? How much does it cost? (not sure if this is like a city bus, or if we have to take a Greyhound bus or something similar...)

I guess concert ticket prices will be a surprise as no sites I%26#39;ve seen yet have that listed. :)

Oh man...so I called the NJ Port Authority and sat on hold for like 15 minutes. They finally answered, and they don%26#39;t have any specific info yet on buses to a concert in July, but it does sound likely that they%26#39;d have several buses leaving before the show for $9 roundtrip.

The operator also said we could take the train from Penn Station to Seacaucus, NJ for $5.75 roundtrip, and then take a quick cab ride to the stadium. She said you can see the stadium from the train station, but you can%26#39;t really walk there.

Has anyone here gone to Giants Stadium from Manhattan by either train or bus, and how was it? This will be an all-day event.
