Canadian Dollar ou USD ?

We will be for vacation in NYC and we%26#39;ll have a one day trip (by our own) to the Falls.

In the canadian side for restaurant, gift shops, snacks, ... do we have to pay in Canadian Dollar or can we pay with US$ ?

If we need canadian $, it is easy to change money there or do we have to come with canadian $ in order to avoid queueing to change money ?

Is it easy also to pay with credit card (even for small amont) that could be an alternative in changing money ?

U.S. currency is accepted everywhere in Niagara Falls, Ont. (and most of Canada actually), although exchange rates given by restaurants and stores may not be the greatest. For the best exchange rate, go to a bank or casino. A credit card is probably the best way for larger amounts. For small purchases, just use U.S. money.
