brooklyn bridge directions

Ok I know this has probably been answered a million times and i did try to do a search. I need to know the best place to get a subway when you get back into Manhattan after coming off the bridge, I need the subway to times square. All of the directions I found are getting into Brooklyn not back into midtown. Thanks for your help.

To get to Times Square, you may do any of the following:

1) Take the 4, 5, or 6 from Brooklyn Bridge station to Unioin Square. Transfer at Union Square for the N, R, Q or W train.

2) Take the 4, 5, or 6 to Grand Central Terminal. Transfer there for either the S or the #7, and take that to Times Square.

3) Walk across City Hall Park to Broadway. On the City Hall Park side of Boradway, near Murray Street, enter the City Hall station and take the R or W to Times Square.

4) Walk across City Hall Park to Broadway and park Place. Enter the Park Place statin and take the 2 or 3 to Times Square.
