Looking for a good martini! :)

I%26#39;m looking for a good place to get a Martini in the Union Square Park area AND near 30 Rock.

I would love any suggestions.

The Martini I had in the Rainbow Grill (65th floor of 30 Rock) was excellent - but Very Expensive.

If you decide to try the Rainbow Grill, go at night. The view of the ESB is fantastic.

The undisputed expert on all things alcohol is wellermdfan. Use the search bar to pull up her list of trip reports and pub crawl reviews. Make yourself a cocktail, sit down and have a good read.

(My favorite in the Union Square area is Olive%26#39;s, in the W Union Square Hotel.)

Gramercy Park hotel at 2 Lexington Avenue (corner of E21st and Lexington), not exactly in Union Square, but they have fantastic martinis.

Any Randy Gerber bar (ie Whiskey Park, Whiskey Blue, Stone Rose Lounge and already mentioned, Olives) make phenominal martinis.
