Yankee Stadium from White Plains

I am going to be in White Plains on 4/18 (get into LGA at 12:30pm) and I want to go to the Yankee game that night. I have a rental car and have to go to White Plains for a meeting in the afternoon.

What is the best way to get back to Yankee Stadium for a night game? Should I drive? If so, where should I park? Is there a train from White Plains?

Yankee Stadium from White Plains

Take MetroNorth from White Plains to 125th Street station in Harlem. Walk the one block from Park Avenue to Lexington Avenue, and take the #4 subway to Yankee Stadium.

You can look up the schedule here:

Where will you stay that night?

You can drive. FOR DIRECTIONS FROM WESTCHESTER COUNTY AND POINTS NORTH:

Take the Bronx River or Hutchinson River Parkway to Bruckner Expressway (I-278) West to Major Deegan (I-87) North to Exit 4 (149th Street) or Exit 5 (161st Street).

There%26#39;s parking at the Stadium.

I don%26#39;t know if the train from White Plains stops close enough to the stadium. There a stop called Tremont and there%26#39;s a subway stop on the correct line called Tremont, but don%26#39;t know how close they are to each other.

Here%26#39;s the White Plains train info.

Here%26#39;s the subway map

You can take the train into Grand Central and then go back north to the stadium by subway but that seems like a waste of time. Hopefully someone else will know.

Oops. GWB was there!!

;o)

Thanks for the information. How long should this trip take? Just trying to schedule around my meetings.

You should be at Yankee Stadium within fifteen minutes of leaving the Harlem/125th Street train station. As for how long the train takes from White Plains, that is shown in the train schedule I gave you.
