Helicopter Tours - can you just turn up and pay?

What are the chances that you can just turn up at the Downtown port and pay (for a ride that day)??

I am staying at the Red Roof inn on W 32nd Street, in order to do this tour, can i book at a Liberty helicopter ticket office (if is there one), or is there anywhere else that I can just turn up or go to an office and book.

Trying to avoid booking on line as dont want to put on my c.card, rather pay in cash.

PS Are Liberty the better tour operator or are there any other just as good operators with good prices?

You should be able to turn up and pay, there might be a wait though.

We booked online through a 3rd party and saved about $20. Unfortunately I can%26#39;t find the site we used.

Hi my sister in law and boyfriend just turned up for a helicopter ride and had no problems, apparently there are 3 different companies flying from the same place and if one helicopter isn;t filled then even though you may have booked with another, you just get on and go. So if you just turn up then they will put you on whatever one is empty next and seeing as they fly every 10 minutes you don%26#39;t wait long at all.

We are from Bristol too! We%26#39;ll be in New York in Aug for our first trip there.Haven%26#39;t booked anything yet and are not clued up at all about the place!!
