places to eat near macys

any ideas of reasonable priced places to eat near to macys and surrounding area

places to eat near macys

There are mostly fast-food outlets in that area. If you%26#39;re looking for a casual place for lunch, there are a few in Macy%26#39;s itself. I would suggest you avoid the McDonald%26#39;s in the store though. Recent reports haven%26#39;t been complimentary.

For other places in the area, go to menupages.com, where you can search by neighborhood, cuisine, etc. You can read reviews and see sample menus as well. (The menus have mostly outdated prices though.)

Go to Macy%26#39;s Cellar, very good food %26amp; reasonably priced.

For decent burgers %26amp; salads, Heartland Brewery, 34th @5th Avenue. Nothing fancy.

Jack Dempseys - W. 33rd Street between 6th Avenue %26amp; Broadway

Yes, do avoid the McDonalds in Macys! They had bugs in their drinks!!!

So disgusting, I want to report it.

I ate at the Grill, it was a very good. Huge portions.

If you walk over to Lexington Ave (about 10 min east) and turn South there will be plenty of good neighborhood restaurants. I work near there and when we go to lunch we often end up on Lexington between 24-33 streets. Examples of good places are Curry Leaf (Indian, at 27th street, Le Petit Auberge (French, 116 Lexington, between 27 %26amp; 28), Turkish Kitchen (386 3rd Ave | Btwn 27th %26amp; 28th St ), Jaiya (Thai, 396 3rd Ave | At 28th St) and much more

...as I think about it, walking form Macy%26#39;s to Lexington is LESS than 10 min, probably more like 5 minutes

And if you want a really nice place, try ';11 Madison'; at Madison %26amp; 23rd. And while you%26#39;re on 23rd, try Live Bait on 23rd between Broadway %26amp; Madison -- they have the best catfish sandwhich in the galaxy.

If you want to walk a few blocks.... Artisanal is on 32nd between Park and Madison Aves.
