Boston to NYC

What is the best way to get from NYC to Boston and then back to NYC. We arrive early morning into NYC. Thanks

Boston to NYC

It depends... on where you%26#39;re arriving (airport or ???) and how many you are. Flying/training/bus/driving all can make sense.

If you%26#39;re flying into a NYC airport, it probably makes most sense to fly from that airport to Boston. Airfare is often cheaper than the train. But if you%26#39;re coming from Manhattan, the cost and inconvenience of getting to the airport plus added time needed for security makes taking the train from city center to city center more attractive. Then, on the return, it again depends on what you plan to do next. If you fly straight out, then flying is best. If you%26#39;re spending some time in NYC you might consider taking the train.

For train, make sure to check all the possible Amtrak.com discounts V383 code can sometimes save a huge amount.

I agree with Nywhiz Jetblue has cheap flights from JFK-BOS but with the time it takes to get their and security hassles, your best bet is Amtrak right into South Station near the financial distict and downtown Boston,i dont know if your talking 1 day trip or more.

If you`re looking for a bargain alternative Greyhound/Peter Pan Bus Lines have internet fares for $15 each way. Go to greyhound.com and look for e-fares. The service is safe, reliable and the trip takes about 4.5 hours. Buses leave from The Port Authority Bus Terminal in NYC and arrive at The South Station Transportation Center in Boston.
