The Grand Hyatt is attached to Grand Central terminal and is very convenient as a subway hub and its within walking distance of many midtown attractions. I%26#39;ve stayed there and like the location but the staff is indifferent and the rooms range from very small to average even on a NYC scale.

Does anyone have any other suggestions.....? Wow this forum moves fast.... I am over in the Hawaii forum and it moves alot slower! LOL

Depending on your budget, the Doubletree Guest Suites in Times Square would be within a short walk of all the theaters and it%26#39;s an all suite hotel which might be nice for the 3 of you. Great views etc. but not fancy (about the same level as the Hyatt but less corporate).

The Blakely is a small hotel a short walk north of Times Square that has some nice 1 bedroom suites.

I made it sound like the Doubletree Suites were small and they%26#39;re not. I should also mention there%26#39;s a chain of 7 all suite hotels that are well liked and good value. www.affinia.com

The Shelburne Murray Hill, part of that chain, is not far from the Hyatt and I think nicer but I prefer smaller hotels.

There%26#39;s also a newish Residence Inn that%26#39;s in a good central location. All rooms are one room suites (studios) but you get some extra space and a kitchen rather than just a hotel room.
