Hey all,
My sister is in NY...flying home at 10pm NY time %26amp; has a few hours to kill until 6pm this evening. She is based at 54th %26amp; 7th I think....any suggestions to kill a few hours????
Urgent response would help.
Thanks in advance!
A few hours to kill....need suggestions urgently!
There%26#39;s always shopping. Or exploring central park. One of the things I really enjoyed on my last trip was wandering around the lower east side, followed by a tour at the Tenament Museum, followed by lunch at Katz%26#39;s deli. There%26#39;s lots of cool little shops and cafes in that area.

Thanks Tripgirl,
She has just texted me to say that they are in Union Sq area.....any ideas?
Bump
Fantastic shoe shopping at DSW in union sq, and Cafeteria is quite close to there also. Excellent macaroni and cheese and hot chocolate.
Sorry, not Cafeteria - City Bakery! its at 18th st between 5th and 6th
Thank you so much.......she is frantic trying to make the most of her last few hours there.
Its her first trip %26amp; loves it, but doesn%26#39;t want to waste a second before the flight home.
i suggested carrie bradshaws apt.....its close by union sq????
That%26#39;s on Perry st in Greenwich village, she would have to get a subway or cab. One of the locals will know more about this than me!
She%26#39;s not far from MoMA (Museum of Modern Art). On a miserable, rainy day like today that would be a good option.
